Nuestras nuevas piedras de poliestireno extruido necesitaban un diorama para ver todas sus posibilidades. Hemos empezado con una combinación de rocas y piezas del fuerte antiguo (Fort Reno o similar) con algunas figuras nuevas que hemos hecho este verano.
El resultado nos parece bastante bueno, ya que le da un toque novedoso a nuestros escenarios, sin perder excesivamente el estilo Playmobil. Esta combinación puede servir como poblado bárbaro o vikingo. Incluso, cambiando la vegetación y alguna otra pieza, podría utilizarse como fortín en un escenario de piratas en una isla remota. También puede ser utilizado como un emplazamiento fronterizo de la América colonial.
Al hacer las rocas hemos intentando que tuvieran varios accesos para poder cambiar su uso en función de la orientación que tengan. En uno de los lados es posible incrustar una de las escaleras vikingas del 3151 y en el lado opuesto hay una pendiente escalonada de rocas que permite el acceso a pie y a caballo. Los otros dos lados cuentan con dos espacios planos para poder insertar otras rocas o construcciones de menor tamaño.
La escena que aquí presentamos muestra un campamento permanente de un clan de nuestros guerreros de las tierras altas del reino de Yebärn (por ponerle un nombre). Nada conocido hay más al norte de su territorio, al que pocos visitantes llegan. Incomunicados durante el invierno por el bloqueo de los pasos que dan acceso al valle donde habitan a causa de las abundantes nevadas, dedican su tiempo a la caza, al trabajo de la madera y a la confección de armas. Son respetados por los pueblos que tienen contacto con ellos, con los que suelen comerciar.
Hemos incluido también aquí una personalización de la puerta del fuerte, que hicimos anteriormente utilizando masilla, piezas de descarte y algún experimento que hicimos con la resina (el mascarón de la barca vikinga – 3156). Uno de los problemas con los que nos venimos encontrando es la falta de determinadas piezas clave para hacer de las construcciones Playmobil algo polivalente. Este problema en realidad es una oportunidad, ya que pensamos que Playmobil podría volver a rentabilizar estos moldes con un pequeño esfuerzo de piezas, aprovechando al máximo moldes ya existentes (espero que alguien de su Departamento de diseño lea esto y esté de acuerdo).
La idea de las figuras nos venía después de ver el nuevo castillo de los guerreros lobos (6002) y otros intentos de Playmobil de crear un nuevo guerrero bárbaro (4769 – 5408 – 5293). Esperabamos algo más en madera, la verdad. Así que lo hemos tenido que hacernos el nuestro. No podemos estar más agradecidos a esas ideas y piezas, sin ellas todo esto no sería posible. No obstante, nos vendrían de perlas algunas otras para hacer alguna chica con la que aumentar un poco la población de este clan, que de lo contrario acabara extinto.

Our new extruded polystyrene rocks needed a
diorama to see all the possibilities. We started with a combination of rocks
and pieces of the old fort (Fort Glory) with some new figures that we have done
this summer.
The result seems pretty good, as it gives a new
twist to our scenarios, without excessively wasting the original Playmobil
style. This combination can serve as barbarian or Viking settlement. Even
changing the forest and some other piece, could be used as a fort in a scenario
of pirates on a remote island. It can also be used as a frontier site of the
colonial America.
Upon the rocks we have tried to have multiple
uses to change it depending on the orientation they have. On one side it is
possible to embed one of the Viking 3151 stairs and on the opposite side there
is a stepped slope of rocks that enables access by foot or horse. The other two
sides have two flat spaces to embed other rocks or smaller structures.
The scene presented here shows a permanent camp
of a clan of warriors of our highland kingdom of Yebärn (by giving a name). No
land is known further the north of its territory, which few visitors
arrive. During the winter, heavy
snowfalls block the steps that lead to the valley where they live, and they
spend their time hunting, working the wood and
manufacturing weapons. They are
respected by the people who have contact with them, which they tend to trade.
We have also included here a customization of
the gate of the fort, we did above using putty, scrap pieces and we did some
experiments with the resin (the figurehead of the Viking boat - 3156). One of
the problems with which we have been finding is the lack of certain key pieces
to make Playmobil multipurpose buildings. This problem is actually an
opportunity, as we thought that Playmobil could monetize it again monetize
these molds with a little effort on new parts, maximizing existing molds (I
hope someone in your design department reads this and agrees).
This idea came to us after seeing new castle of
the Wolf clan warriors (6002) and other attempts to create a new Playmobil
barbarian warrior (4769 - 5408-5293). We expected something more ancient, so we had to make ours own version. We could
not be more grateful to those ideas and pieces, without them this would not be
possible. However, we would like to use some other parts to make some girls
that slightly increase the female population of this clan, that would otherwise
end up extinct.
