Recomendar un libro es siempre una tarea difícil. En este caso se trata de un libro infantil “Colegas de otro tiempo – los vikingos” (2008). Creo que también hará las delicias de los adultos apasionados del tema. Es un libro barato de menos de 5 euros, encuadernado en tapa dura, y da un repaso divertido y ameno sobre muchas de las facetas de la vida de los vikingos. Su autora es LAURA BULLER y su ilustrador es RICH CANDO. Os dejamos algunas imágenes para que podáis ver si el contenido os interesa.
También existe la versión del antiguo Egipto. Es una forma divertida de acercarse a la historia. A mi hijo le encantó. Esperamos que os guste.

I love books like this! It's a great way to awaken childrens interest in history. I have bought a lot of similar style books (mostly from the medieval period) for my daughter. Many of them are about the vikings, as it is part of our heritage. I have to admit that I often use the illustrations as inspiration for playmobil customs as well. In my case, the interest for history came, in great part, as a result of the tv-series "Il était une fois l'homme" ("Det var en gang et menneske" in norwegian) created by Albert Barillé, that I used to watch as a child. I remember playing what I had seen with my playmobils afterwards :-D

"Il était une fois l'homme" ("Det var en gang et menneske" – “Érase una vez... el hombre” - “Once Upon a Time… Man”) is the greatest animated history TV series. We love it, we have all the movies and books. My children have been growing watching it. They used it to learn, and they also look inside to create their adventures and characters.
