BRUNILDA

Seguimos en el reino de Yebärn, pero un poco más al sur. En este caso nos encontramos en la península de Götturå, en los dominios del Conde Bjórnesön asistiendo a la llegada de su amada hija: la princesa Brunilda, que vuelve acompañada de su escolta después de haber sido enviada como embajadora de paz al reino de Dragonia.

Playmobil ha utilizado mucho el color morado en sus figuras. Los tonos van desde el rosa claro al morado oscuro. Nosotros, lejos de rechazarlo hemos ido creando y aprovechando todo lo que nos ha ido entrando en este color. La base principal está en los bárbaros y vikingos, pero hay mucho material combinable en esos colores. El problema con estos colores es que no parece muy creíble que se utilizasen realmente. Pero en este caso, es por todos conocido que existen una minas en ese reino del que se extrae un carbón de color magenta con el que se tiñen los ropajes sus habitantes desde tiempos inmemoriales.

Aunque aún no damos por definitiva algunas de las figuras, estamos muy satisfechos del resultado. Hemos convertido un pequeño grupo de guerreros bárbaros en una comunidad organizada. Pensamos que les vienen muy bien las fortificaciones en madera, pero no descartamos hacerles algún emplazamiento en piedra.

No podemos pasar sin comentar nuestro nuevo barco 3150. Permitidnos la licencia de utilizar una vela latina en un barco vikingo/nórdico, pero era un experimento que teníamos que probar. Además el barco puede volver a llevar la vela cuadrada, ya que no hemos quitado el enganche superior del mástil. Le hemos puesto un mascarón menos agresivo, cambiándole el color para darle un aire diferente. La vela es otro experimento con la goma-eva.

We still are in the kingdom of Yebärn, but a little further south. In this case we are in Götturå peninsula, in the domains of Count Bjórnesön attending the arrival of his beloved daughter: the princess Brunilda, who returns with her guards after having been sent as an ambassador of peace to the kingdom of Dragonia.

Playmobil has long used the purple colour on his figures. The shades range from light pink to dark purple. We have gone far from rejecting, we are creating and taking advantage of everything we have been buying in this color. The main base is in the barbarians and vikings sets, but there is much material to combine in these colors. The problem with these colors is that it does not seem very credible that actually utilized. But in this case, it is well known that there is a strange charcoal mine in that kingdom with magenta rocks that its inhabitants used to dyed their robes from time immemorial...

Although we do not finish definitively some of the figures, we are very pleased with the result. We converted a small group of barbarian warriors in an organized community. We think they are very good wood fortifications, but do not rule them any location in stone.

We can not pass without comment our new boat 3150.  For this time, let us use a lateen sail on a Viking / Nordic boat, but it was an experiment that we had to try. In addition, the ship can carry back to the square sail, since we have not removed the upper hook of the mast. We've put a less aggressive mask, changing color to give a different air. Sailing is another experiment with foamy.
