PIQUERO ESPAÑOL SIGLO XVII
Aquí os presentamos una nueva versión de los tercios españoles. Nuestro soldado bien puede encajar en cualquier escenario desde el final del siglo XV a los principios del siglo XVII. Nosotros hemos apostado por recuperar las piernas negras antiguas (a modo de calzas) y mejorar la apariencia del pecho y el cuello.
Playmobil realizó una serie de piratas en 2007, en concreto las referencias 4294 (faro) y 4295 (barca) que incluía soldados de esta época. En general creo que se trata de dos muy buenas referencias.
La barca es un claro ejemplo de mejora en los diseños de Playmobil, que de no tener esas iniciativas de evolución, con seguridad sería una de tantas empresas jugueteras desaparecidas. Otra aportación de gran valor son los cascos, que desde luego permiten tener una figura digna, sin tener que recurrir a la resina.
En cuanto al faro, creo que otra vez fueron poco ambiciosos. Otro edificio más que se queda huérfano. El diseño es espectacular, como siempre, pero le falta poder integrarse con otras construcciones. Con un par de moldes nuevos y todo lo que tienen de steck podrían haber hecho una maravilla. Ya lo hemos comentado en otras entradas, este es un punto de vista de adulto, os aseguro que a los niños todo esto les da igual.
Otro muy buen intento sobre la época fue unos de los últimos “especiales” 4742 (conquistador). Una referencia con cantidad de piezas de utilidad para personalizar figuras. Un acierto desde luego.
Here we introduce a new version of the Spanish tercios. Our soldier can fit into any scene from the end of the XV century to the early XVII century. We have opted to recover the old black legs (as tights) and improve the appearance of the chest and neck.
Playmobil made a new pirate serie in 2007, specifically the 4294 reference (the lighthouse) and 4295 (the boat) which included soldiers from this era. In general I think these are two great references.
The boat is a clear example of improved designs Playmobil, without these initiatives, Playmobil could not evolve and surely would be one of many toy companies disappeared. Another valuable contribution is the new helmet, which of course allow to have a dignified figure, without having to resort to the resin.
Regarding the lighthouse, I think again they were not ambitious. Another orphaned building. The design is amazing, as always, but it lacks to integrate with other buildings. With a couple of new molds and all the steck-system molds they have, they could have done a wonderful one. As we have discussed in other posts, this is an adult point of view, I assure you that the kids do not worry about that.
Another very good try on the period was one of the last "special" 4742 (conqueror). A reference with many pieces of utility to customize figures. A wise move indeed.
