ULTIMAS PERSONALIZACIONES DE AGOSTO

Se acaban las vacaciones. Esperamos poder seguir incluyendo entradas a buen ritmo en este blog. Dependerá de lo que podamos conseguir en el próximo mercadillo.

A mi hijo mayor le encantan las cajas inspiradas en Robin Hood y sus Merry Men de mediados de los noventa. Son sus medievales preferidos y nada fáciles de conseguir. Con unas pocas piezas ha reclutado un nuevo habitante para el bosque de Sherwood.

Incluso las referencias más modernas pueden incorporar nuevas tropas… La selección de piezas la realizó un pequeñín de cuatro años.
   

Una nueva adquisición para nuestro ejercito del clan de los hombres lobos.

También nuestros bárbaros tienen otro nuevo miembro.

Puede ser un vikingo o un cazador medieval. Aún no lo hemos guardado. Está  preparado para disparar su arco.

Un par de nuevos vikingos.  No le convencen mucho a mi hijo mayor. Pero a mí me parecen casi perfectos.

Por último, un terrorífico pirata fantasma. Está esperando incorporarse a sus compañeros para aterrorizar los siete mares.

AUGUST LAST CUSTOMIZATION

The holidays are over. We look forward to continue including entries in this blog. Depends on what we can achieve in the next flea market.

My oldest son loves mid-nineties boxes inspired by Robin Hood and his Merry Men. They are his favorite medieval boxes and they aren´t easy to get. With a few pieces has recruited a new man for the Sherwood Forest.

Even the modern references can incorporate new troops ... The selection of pieces performed by a four years old little boy.

A new military addition to our wolf clan men.

Also our barbarians have another new member.

He may be a Viking or a medieval hunter. We have not yet saved. He´s ready to shoot his bow.

A couple of new Vikings. My oldest son isn´t convinced a lot. But I seem they are nearly perfect.

Finally, a scary ghost pirate. He´s waiting to join his pitare fellows to terrorize the seven seas.

NUEVOS CABALLOS

Ya lo habíamos comentado algo en otra entrada. Los nuevos caballos de Playmobil son de lo mejorcito que hemos visto. Pueden tener muchas más funciones además de su uso en la granja.

Por ejemplo, un pony indio. La silla de montar no le hace justicia. Me encanta esta personalización.

El percherón no tiene rival en un diorama medieval.

El uso de ponis no era exclusivo de los indios, también los pueblos del norte los usaban. El caballo lleva una silla de ante, le queda mejor que las originales.

Por último, un oficial de la infantería inglesa del siglo XVIII. Una estampa maravillosa.

NEW HORSES

We had already said something about it in another post. The new Playmobil horses are second to none we've seen. They may have many more features in addition to use on the farm.

For example, an Indian pony. The saddle does not do justice. I love this custom.

The Percheron is great in any medieval diorama.

The use of ponies was not unique to the Indian, people of the north also used them. The horse wears a custom leader saddle; it looks better than the original.

Finally, an eighteenth century British infantry officer. A wonderful picture.

LLEGAN LOS INDIOS

Los indios han sido los primeros Playmobil que empezamos a comprar en mercadillo para mi hijo pequeño. Poco a poco, hemos conseguido un buen número de ellos. Para evitar tener figuras repetidas hemos hecho algunas personalizaciones. Lo mejor de todo: Para mi hijo era como haberlos comprado nuevos. Un rato fantástico cambiando solo algunas piezas.

HERE COME THE INDIANS

Indians were the first to start buying Playmobil on flea market for my son. Gradually, we have a good number of them. To avoid repeated figures we have made some customizations. Best of all: For my son it was like buying them new. A fantastic time just changing some parts.

PERSONALIZACIONES MEDIEVALES

Aquí llegan algunos de los muñecos que hemos hecho últimamente:

Un burgomaestre de camino a la corte. Ha parado en el camino para beber un poco de agua. Está todo hecho de piezas que nos sobraban.

La ampliación de nuestras tropas del clan de los hombres lobo. Han quedado tan bien que se merecen un capítulo especial. 99% hecho de mercadillo.

Here come some of the toys we've done lately:

A mayor is going to court. He stopped on the road to drink some water. It's all made up of pieces of stock.

ESCENA EN EL BOSQUE

Otro diorama ambientado en el bosque. Una escena de pastores y cazadores. Aquí ayudan unas montañas que pertenecen a un playset llamado la reserva africana para animales en escala 1/32. La base pertenece a un playset que compramos en una tienda de baratillo. Las montañas y la base le dan un volumen y una perspectiva a la escena que no se puede conseguir usando únicamente plantas.

Los cazadores son personalizaciones de trozos de medievales. Todavía no estamos muy convencidos del resultado. El tronco para llevar la caza lo encontramos suelto en un mercadillo. Lo usamos con unas gomas pequeñas que sujetan al jabalí.

FOREST SCENE

Another diorama set in the forest. A scene of shepherds and hunters. This time helps by two mountains belonging to a playset called the African animal reserve in scale 1/32. The landscape base belongs to a playset that we bought a dime store. The mountains and the base volume and give a perspective to the scene that can not be achieved using only plants.

Hunters are customizations of medieval pieces. We're still not very convinced of the result. The trunk was found loose in a flea market. We use it with a small rubber bands that hold the wild boar.

What a lovely wolfs. 

DIORAMA VIKINGO Y NUEVOS CABALLOS

Playmobil ha conseguido superarse con sus nuevos caballos. Cuando los vimos por primera vez, nos dimos cuenta del potencial que tenían. Solo les podemos poner un problema: No les valen las sillas de montar antiguas.

El percherón es nuestro preferido. En cualquier diorama puede marcar la diferencia. Está hecho para los carros medievales y vikingos.

Aquí os dejo una demostración: Una patrulla de guerreros vikingos ha parado un carro de provisiones que viajaba de una aldea a otra.

Le hemos puesto la yunta del carro de artillería montada de la guerra de secesión y unas riendas de caballo vikingo. Le vienen perfecto.

NEW HORSES AND VIKING DIORAMA

Playmobil has managed to overcome their new horses. When we first met, we realized the potential they had. Only we can make a problem not worth their old saddles.

The Percheron is our favorite. In any diorama can make a difference. It's made for medieval and Viking wagons.

Here you have a demo: A Viking warriors patrol stopped a wagon traveling in provisions from one village to another.

We put the yoke of the cart horse artillery of the Civil War and a Viking horse reins. They look perfect.

We hope that they will let him go alive!!

SENCILLO Y FANTÁSTICO

Con restos de otros muñecos se puede hacer un Playmobil único. Con un solo Playmobil se puede hacer un diorama… bueno acompañándolo un poquito.

No sabemos si es un pastor medieval o vikingo, pero podría tratarse de una próxima referencia special.

La casa de madera (7098) le viene fenomenal a nuestro pastor. 

SIMPLE AND FANTASTIC

You can built a new Playmobil with pieces of some figures. With a single Playmobil you can built a diorama … and with a little accompaniment.

We don´t know if he is a medieval or viking shepherd, but he could be an upcoming special reference.

The wooden house (7098) is a great add on to our shepherd.

DIORAMA MARINO

Estás referencias le encantan a mi hija. La verdad es que están tratadas con mucho realismo, teniendo en cuenta que incluyen muchos elementos de fantasía.

No contábamos con muchos elementos, pero con un poco de imaginación se puede conseguir mucho.

Hemos visto muchos dioramas que tienen fondo marino en algunas exposiciones y siempre es un problema el tema de la superficie marina. Nosotros dudamos entre un fondo marrón o uno azul. Pensamos que el azul era más real.

Casi parece un acuario. A disfrutar.

OCEAN DIORAMA
My daughter loves these references. They are treated very realistically, considering that include many elements of fantasy.

We did not have many elements, but with a little imagination you can achieve a lot.

We have seen many dioramas seafloor in some exhibitions and always is a problem to issue the subject of the sea surface. We doubt between a brown or blue background. We think the blue was more real.
 

BARCO VIKINGO CUSTOM

Hace un tiempo compramos bastante barato en Ebay un lote vikingo para ampliar nuestros custom y nos traía también 2 barcos, más bien dos medios barcos, vikingos. Los barcos han estado guardados hasta que hemos tenido una idea de lo que queríamos hacer.

Lo primero era desmontar el barco, que no fue fácil. La verdad es que Playmobil hace muy bien los juguetes y creo que con la idea de que no se desmonten solos.

Esto era lo que teníamos en un inicio: el casco y un mástil.

Lo primero era darle un toque personal y único. Los barcos vikingos era todos del color de la madera y sus mascarones de proa eran decorados en dorado para que su brillo pudiera ser visto desde gran distancia, aterrorizando a quienes lo avistaban. Para este primero hemos preferido el negro, que aunque menos espectacular es también terrorífico. La pintura es de de spray comprada en una tienda de baratillo.

Un par de manos y en 24 horas está listo para montarlo.

La vela es de segunda mano, perteneciente a la referencia 3940. El palo de unión al mástil estaba roto y lo arreglamos con masilla epoxy. El cordel es de Pontejos, es lo más parecido al original Playmobil y además lo tienen en muchísimos colores. El cordaje esta inspirado en los barcos que hemos visto y pretende que el barco pueda recoger sus velas de forma fácil. El resto de las piezas las identificamos en Playmodb y las pedimos al DS aprovechando que queríamos algunas piezas especiales.

El resultado es fantástico. Un barco vikingo terrible.

La tripulación es toda personalizada, la construyó mi hijo mayor utilizando como bases algunas figuras sueltas de la referencia. En próximas entregas la presentaremos como se merece.

CUSTOM VIKING BOAT

A while back we bought quite cheap lot on eBay to expand our custom Viking and we also brought 2 half Vikings boats. The ships have been saved until we had an idea of what to do.

The first was to remove the ship, which was not easy. The truth is that Playmobil toys does very well and I think they don´t want to remove their parts.

This was the beginning: the hull and mast.

The first was to give a personal and unique touch. The Viking ship was wooden colored and its figureheads were decorated in gold for their brightness could be seen from great distances, terrifying those who sighted. For our first custom ship we have chosen black, although less spectacular is also terrifying. The spray paint is purchased in a dime store.

The candle is second hand, belonging to the reference 3940. The stick-binding mast was broken and fix with epoxy putty. The string was bought at Pontejos, is the closest to the original Playmobil and also have it in many colors. The remaining items be identified in Playmodb and asked to DS.

The result is fantastic. A true Viking ship.

The crew is all custom built by my older son, using some single figures as a basis of special reference.
Soon we introduce them to you as they deserve.

CASTILLO DE SAN SEBASTIAN (Cádiz)

Estando en Cádiz no puede nadie perderse una excursión al Castillo de San Sebastián, una joya de la arquitectura de fortificaciones maritimas. Situado en una pequeña isla natural cerca de la playa de La Caleta, en el centro de la ciudad, consta de varios recintos amurallados, dotados de baluartes, fosos y puentes.

Existe la leyenda que en este mismo lugar se construyó un templo griego dedicado al dios Kronos. Además, los árabes edificaron una torre atalaya que fue posteriormente aprovechada en la construcción de la fortificación.

Fue en 1457, cuando se levantó una ermita en honor de San Sebastián, como agradecimiento de unos marinos venecianos, que buscaron refugio de la peste en la isla.

Durante los siglos XVII y XVIII se edificó el actual castillo, muy en la línea del sistema Vauban, al que únicamente se podía acceder por barco. En el siglo XIX se construyó el malecón que permite el acceso desde la puerta de La Caleta. En el siglo XX fue utilizado como prisión militar.

El castillo está clasificado Monumento y Bien de interés cultural, aunque parezca mentira por el aspecto que tiene su puerta. Sorprende lo poco que se han preocupado en mantener un edificio que ya querrían en cualquier ciudad europea para convertirlo en reclamo cultural y turístico. Una pena, así somos en España.

De todas formas, nosotros seguiremos visitándolo siempre que vayamos a Cádiz.

SAN SEBASTIAN CASTLE (Cádiz)

While in Cádiz can anyone not miss a trip to San Sebastián castle, a jewel of the architecture of fortifications. Located in a small natural island near the beach of La Caleta, on the inside of the city consists of several walled enclosures, equipped with ramparts, moats and bridges.

It was in 1457 when he got up a shrine in honor of San Sebastian, in appreciation of Venetian seamen who sought refuge from the plague in the island.

Anyway, we continue to visit whenever we go to Cádiz.

PERSONALIZACIONES

Lo mejor de Playmobil, después de tantos años jugando, es hacer tus propios Playmobil. Al empezar a ir alguna feria o tienda especializada, nos dimos cuenta que se vendían figuras que nunca habíamos visto en las cajas, unos “speciales” muy especiales. Nos sorprendía también que numerosas ocasiones en las tiendas se desmontaban figuras y se vendían brazos, piernas, cabezas, cascos…

La tarea de desmontar un Playmobil es ardua cuando no se sabe. Afortunadamente, todo está inventado. El método más eficaz que conocemos lo aprendimos en la tienda Hola caracola de Madrid, un templo Playmobil. Está en la calle García de Paredes, 47. El método consiste en utilizar una goma elástica, que enrollada en el cuello del muñeco hace que se separen las piezas.

A partir de ese momento, el mundo cambió. Lo primero era hacer acopio de piezas para las nuevas creaciones. Afortunadamente en el mercadillo al que vamos una vez al mes eso no era problema. Cajas y cajas de piezas sueltas, cuerpos, animales, construcciones… nuevas y usadas, caras y baratas, limpias y sucias… El ejercicio se convirtió en una diversión esperada con anhelo, deseando que llegase el día de ir a buscar nuevas piezas: madrugando para estar de los primeros, el descubrimiento de algún accesorio buscado, el momento del lavado y clasificado de las piezas y la tarde entera dedicada a desmontar y montar nuestras creaciones.

En los mercadillos suele haber bastantes armas, animales y figuras, pero suelen escasear los accesorios corporales como brazaletes o cuellos, así que hay que elegir muy bien las figuras para poder volver a casa con algo parecido a un Playmobil special.

Las primeras figuras que montamos fueron indios, las favoritas de mi hijo pequeño, así que un hacha por aquí, un escudo por allá, y un caballo nos daban como resultado una figura única, imposible de comprar de otra manera. La cara de ilusión de mi hijo pequeño no tiene precio.

Después fuimos comprando en función de lo que entraba en los puestos. Lo más curioso es que muchas veces, están esperando las figuras medio terminadas ese casco o esas piernas que no teníamos y han aparecido por sorpresa.

Los resultados hablan por sí solos. Y seguirán hablando en otras entradas.

CUSTOMIZATION

Best of Playmobil, after so many years of playing is to make your own Playmobil. The first figures were Indians assemble, favorite of my youngest son, and an ax here, a coat there, and a horse as a result gave us a unique figure, impossible to buy otherwise. The face of the illusion of my youngest son is priceless.

Then we went shopping in terms of what went into the stands. The strange thing is that many times, the figures are waiting, half finished, that helmet or legs that we was asking for  and appeared by surprise.

The results speak for themselves. And they will continue talking to other entries.

DINOSAURIOS

Existe un cambio en los últimos diseños en Playmobil. No sé muy bien cual es la causa, pero se produjo cierta adecuación de los productos a un nivel de realidad mayor, sin perder la personalidad de la marca. Donde más se nota es en los animales. Los dinosaurios son una buena prueba de ello.

El nivel de realismo es extraordinario.

DINOSAURS

There is a change in the latest designs in Playmobil. I'm not sure what the cause, but there was some adaptation of products to a higher level of reality, without losing the personality of the brand. Where is most noticeable in animals. The dinosaurs are a good proof.
