Teníamos una deuda con vosotros después de haber perdido las fotos del anterior fuerte vikingo que habíamos hecho. Ahora que ya tenemos los barcos montados, también teníamos pendiente hacer un primer diorama con ellos.
Aunque hemos modificado la construcción del asentamiento, la esencia sigue siendo la misma. Se trata de un reducto vikingo personalizado en cualquier lugar de Europa que se os ocurra. De difícil acceso por tierra, sirve de refugio a los barcos que por allí pasan, ya sea para comerciar o para saquear. Se sostiene gracias a los tributos que pagan los barcos por poder fondear allí. Todo tipo de mercancías pasan por sus muelles: pieles, marfil, plata, grano, cerveza, vino, animales, pescado, esclavos, utensilios... De las granjas y pueblos cercanos se acercan a comerciar también, por lo que se trata de un punto con gran actividad. Así nacieron algunas ciudades de la que habitamos hoy en día en Europa.

Llevábamos tiempo pensando en incluir un mercado de esclavos vikingo en nuestros dioramas de Playmobil. Los candidatos eran figuras masculinas y femeninas con aspecto y vestimenta rústica. Entendemos que la vida de estas personas estaba muy alejada de la comodidad, aunque por lo que hemos leído no eran maltratados por sus propietarios. Hemos ido recopilando en los diferentes mercadillos figuras para personalizar y que nos parecían podían encajar, y que ya os presentamos en entradas anteriores.
Las referencias 3023 y 4072 de los fuertes Playmobil, junto con las piezas de la referencia 3151, nos permiten hacer este tipo de construcciones que tanto nos gustan. El System X también tiene su “puntito”.

We were indebted to you after having lost the photos of the previous Viking strong point that we had made last summer. Now that we got the new custom ships, we also wanted to make a first diorama with using them.
Although we have modified the construction of the last settlement, the essence remains the same. It is a Viking redoubt anywhere in Europe that you can think of. Hard to reach by land, it serves as a refuge for the ships that pass by, either to trade or to loot. It is sustained thanks to the taxes paid by the ships to be able to anchor there. All kinds of goods go through there: skins, ivory, silver, grain, beer, wine, animals, fish, slaves, utensils. From nearby farms and villages are also close to trading, so it is a very busy area. Thus were born some cities.
We had been thinking about including a Viking slave market in our Playmobil dioramas. The candidates were masculine and feminine figures with appearance and rustic dress. We understand that the life of these people was far from comfort, although from what we have read were not mistreated by their owners. We have been collecting in the different markets pictures to customize and that we could fit, and that we present in the previous entry.
