PLAY ASTERIX

Playmobil está siendo muy valiente. Dos pirámides en menos de 10 años. Nunca pensé que pudiera ocurrir. En nuestro caso, solamente estuvo con nosotros de manera ocasional y tras un año dando vueltas por la casa en los lugares más insospechados finalmente optamos por venderla. No quiero acabar este párrafo sin reconocer que se trataba de una maravilla de juguete, pero inmanejable y sobre todo difícil de desmontar.

Por cosas como la pirámide no pierdo la esperanza de ver novedades maravillosas en el futuro. Y si de futuro, esperanza y sueños se trata, que mejor manera que imaginando lo que Playmobil podría hacer con ideas como las que queremos compartir. Igual hay suerte y alguien en Playmobil puede dedicar parte de esos 30 millones de inversión.

De casualidad me encontré con la existencia de esta marca: PLAY ASTERIX. ¿Quién no ha leído alguna de sus aventuras? Se trata de una marca oriental (Hong Kong) que realizó figuras de plástico y accesorios entre los años 1980 y 1985. Se vendieron en Alemania, Italia, Francia, y Holanda. Os dejo un link de enlace. La idea es sencilla: una licencia de los conocidos comics y una lista de personajes. Hasta ahí todo muy normal, pero miremos con un poco más de detalle los accesorios y espero que coincidáis conmigo en que se trata de auténticas joyas.

Empecemos por las casas. Cuando las vi por primera vez, no podía creerlo. Una autentica pasada. Amor a primera vista. Un diseño sencillo, ideales para cualquier construcción desde el imperio romano hasta bien entrada la edad moderna. ¡Super jugables!

El modelado es perfecto. No hay palabras para el tejado de troncos.

¿A qué os recuerda ese tejado de paja?

Y para colmo hay un tercer modelo más, con el tejado ligeramente irregular. Alucinantes. Las imágenes valen más que mil palabras. Una casa en cuatro o cinco piezas, desmontable, con tejados y frontales intercambiables, podría hacerse tanto con Steck System como System-X. ¿Solamente soñamos nosotros?

Pues la cosa no queda ahí. Playmobil ya la tiene hecha. Aquí está:

Unas cuantas modificaciones de sus diseños actuales y… ya tienen una serie completa para el futuro. ¿galos? ¿vikingos? ¿medieval? ¿piratas?. Pero claro, tenemos que tener claro que esta inversión tendría que tener retorno, de lo contrario pasaría como con PLAY ASTERIX, que desaparecería.

Y la cosa no acaba ahí. Vamos con el fuerte. Llevo soñando con un fuerte de estacas de madera desde hace años. Gracias a las piezas que ha ido fabricando Playmobil estos años hemos podido hacer muchísimo. Gracias Playmobil. Su última aportación era la empalizada del fuerte 5245. Reconozco que se han superado. Pero vamos a ver la empalizada de PLAY ASTERIX y encontraremos fantásticos detalles.

En primer lugar, utiliza el mismo sistema de conectores que los primeros fuertes de Playmobil. ¿Coincidencia? Lo mejor de este sistema es su versatilidad, se pueden hacer empalizadas circulares, rectagulares, irregulares y cuadradas. El diseño es fantástico, ni demasiado detallista ni demasiado simple. ¡Amo las cuerdas entrelazando los troncos!

A continuación le sigue la puerta, ¡qué magnífica idea! Sencilla, una puerta en 4 piezas, que vale para todo. Con solo 5 piezas repetidas te puedes montar desde la empalizada de una aldea gala hasta la de la isla del tesoro. No hay límites para la personalización. Yo tomaría nota.

Por último os dejo algunos detalles de los accesorios que vienen con las cajas pequeñas. Para muchos he encontrado alguna pieza que Playmobil ya tiene en su catálogo, otras me parecen ideas impagables que espero podamos ver en el futuro fabricadas por nuestra marca preferida.

Soñar es gratis y eso es lo que estamos haciendo aquí. Como también debe ser un sueño hacerse con una referencia completa de PLAY ASTERIX porque alcanzan unos precios desorbitados. Nunca he visto una en directo. Ignoro si llegó a comercializarse en España en algún momento. Espero que coincidáis conmigo en que puede ser una gran fuente de inspiración.

Playmobil is being very valiant. Two Pyramids made in ten years. I had never thought that it could happened. In our case, We only bought it in a occasional way. We have no place to put it and finally we must sold it. I do not finish this paragraph without  to tell about that it is marvelous toy, but very difficult to disassemble.

Things like this make me keep the hope to see in the next future wonderful pieces made by Playmobil. And when we talk about future, dreams and hope, we want to dream about pieces that we desires and maybe someday Playmobil could make them happen.

By a chance I found the existence of this brand: PLAY ASTERIX. Who has not read any of your adventures? This is an oriental brand (Hong Kong) who performed plastic figures and accessories between 1980 and 1985. They were sold in Germany, Italy, France, and the Netherlands. Here you have a link. The idea is simple: a license of a famous comic and a list of characters. So far so very normal, but let's look a little more detail accessories and hope you will agree with me that this is real gems.

Let's start with the houses. When I first saw it, I could not believe it. Real cool. Love at first sight. A simple design, ideal for any construction from the Roman Empire until well into the modern age. Super playable!

Modeling is perfect. No words to the roof of logs.

And to top it off there's a third model, with slightly irregular roof.

Amazing. Pictures are worth a thousand words.

A house in four or five pieces, removable, interchangeable roofs and front, could be both Steck System and System-X. Only are we dreaming about it?

Well it does not stop there. Playmobil already have done. Here it is:

A few modifications to their current designs and ... already have a complete set for the future. Gauls? Vikings? medieval? Pirates? But of course, we must be clear that this investment would have to have return, otherwise it would like to PLAY ASTERIX, would disappear.

And it does not end there. Come to the palisade fort. I've been dreaming of a strong wooden palisade for years. Thanks to the pieces that Playmobil has been manufacturing  these years we have been able to do some forts. Thanks Playmobil. His last contribution was the palisade of the ref. 5245. I recognize that have been overcome. But let's see the stockade PLAY ASTERIX and find their fantastic details.

First, it uses the same system of connectors that the first Playmobil fort. Coincidence? The best thing about this system is its versatility, can be made circular palisade square, rectangular arrays, irregular. The design is fantastic, not too detailed or too simple. I love the strings intertwining trunks!

Then follows the fort gate, what a great idea! Simple, a door into 4 pieces, which applies to everything.

With only 5 repeat pieces you can assemble from a Gallic village stockade to Treasure Island fort. There are no limits for personalization. I would take note.

Finally I leave some details of the accessories that come with small boxes. For many I found some piece Playmobil already has in its catalog, others seem to me priceless ideas that I hope we will see in the future made by our preferred brand.

Dreaming is free and that's what we're doing here. As should also be a dream come with a complete reference PLAY ASTERIX because they reach exorbitant prices. I have never seen it. I do not know if it came to be marketed in Spain at some point. I hope you will agree with me that it can be a great source of inspiration.
