Fue el primer monasterio atacado por los vikingos el 8 de junio del año 793, considerándose este hecho como el inicio de la Era vikinga. Muchas son las ilustraciones de este hecho, que evocan la llegada de estos seres "diabólicos" a las costas británicas. Aquí tenemos a un monje paseando por la costa, entretenido en cualquier tarea rutinaria, que atónito contempla la llegada del juicio final.
Nuestra devoción por la serie de los vikingos de Playmobil es manifiesta y este hecho histórico era una asignatura pendiente en nuestras fotos.
Lindisfarne, the Vikings are coming!
It was the first monastery attacked by the Vikings on 8 June 793, considering this as the beginning of the Viking Era. There are many illustrations of this historical fact, that evoke the arrival of these "evil" men arriving at British shores. Here, a monk is walking along the coast, working in any routine task, which is scaring and contemplating the arrival of doomsday.
Our devotion to the series Playmobil Vikings is ongoing and this historical fact was a must to issue in our photo series.
