EXPERIMENTOS (III)

La fotografía es una de las asignaturas pendientes del año 2012. No resulta nada fácil conseguir un efecto satisfactorio en las imágenes.

Hasta ahora una tela azul ha sido el fondo que hemos venido utilizando en la mayoría de los casos.

También nos han servido las cajas de almacenaje forradas de nilón.

La principal dificultad está en conseguir una sensación de “fondo” con relieve en escala en unos pocos centímetros.

Otro problema está en conseguir captar los grandes dioramas con un fondo “creíble”.

Bueno, aquí os dejamos algunos experimentos. Hay un poco de todo. Algunos personajes ya han sido presentados con anterioridad.

Empezamos la sesión de fotografía Playmobil con un fondo de goma eva azul, una cámara digital en modo automático sin tripode. Las fotos están hechas con luz natural.

La temática del siglo de oro español da mucho juego para las personalizaciones. Aquí tenéis unas referencias para que Playmobil las saque cuando quiera:

- La artillería.

- Dos oficiales y escolta.

- La tropa transportando víveres.

Ahora cambiamos el color del fondo. Primero marrón, con unos guerreros del clan de los lobos.

Luego un fondo verde. Un pequeño de paseo por el bosque. Un tributo al 3627 y 3628 de Playmobil.

¿Qué tal le sentará el fondo verde a nuestra caballería de la guerra de los 30 años? Parece que bien.

Ahora vamos a poner dos fondos. uno azul al fondo y otro verde en el suelo:

Aquí cambiamos la cabra de antes por un vikingo. Creo que vamos por el buen camino. El hacha es otro experimento que pronto tendrá su propia entrada.

El resultado nos parece bastante bueno teniendo en cuenta los medios con los que contamos.

EXPERIMENTS (III)

Photography is one of the unfinished business of 2012. It is not easy to get a satisfactory effect in the images.

We have been used a blue cloth background in most cases.  We also have helped storage blue nylon boxes.

The main difficulty is to get a feel of "real background" within a few centimeters.

Another problem is getting a "credible" large dioramas background.

We started the photo Playmobil session with a blue foam background and a digital camera in automatic mode without a tripod. The pictures are made with natural light.

Spanish Golden Century  gives much room for custom. Here are some references that we would like to make by Playmobil:

 - The artillery.

 - Two officers and an escort.

 - The troop carrying groceries.

Now we change the background color. First brown background, with some wolf clan warriors.

Then we used a green background. A little boy is  walking in the forest. A Playmobil 3627 and 3628 tribute.

How about our 30 years war cavalry sit on a green background? It looks great.

Now let's mix two colours. The blue one and a green background on the floor:

Here we change the goat before. I think we're on the right track. The ax is another experiment that will soon have its own entrance.

EL BARÓN DE MUNCHAUSEN

Cuando tres en casa tienen la escarlatina, el tiempo pasa muy despacio. El otro día trajimos de la biblioteca “Las aventuras del Barón de Munchausen” de 1979. Una autentica locura que hizo las delicias del más pequeño.

Al volver del trabajo, mi hijo mayor ya tenía su personalización Playmobil, con perro y todo. A mí me parece que ha quedado de lujo. No hay mal que por bien no venga.

THE BARON OF MUNCHAUSEN

When three at home have the scarlet fever, time passes very slowly. The other day brought back from the library "The adventures of the man of Munchausen" (a 1979 animation movie). A real madness that was the delight of the smallest one. When I returned from work, my oldest son had his own Playmobil custom, with a dog also. I think it is a great figure. Every cloud has a silver lining.

LA TABERNA

La idea de mezclar el Sistema-X y el Steck de Playmobil siempre ha rondado por nuestras cabezas. Ahora que ya casi está acabado nuestro 3268 por partes, hemos empezado a hacer alguna prueba. El experimento consiste en dar un aspecto de taberna portuaria del siglo XVIII a un castillo medieval.

Los planos de la escena son tres: al fondo los palos de un barco (en el muelle), en segundo lugar un edificio (taberna) a pie de fondeadero y por último, en primer plano, una plaza o calle de una ciudad.

Los fallos.

a)      La profundidad. Creo que la distancia entre el fondo, el barco y el edificio debería haber sido mayor.

b)      El suelo. Un suelo marrón (tierra) o gris (piedra) sería más realista.

c)      La altura del edificio. Una taberna de una sola altura dejaría a la vista el barco y  daría mayor sensación de profundidad.

Los aciertos.

a)      La mezcla de edificios y sistemas. Me encanta como queda el edificio principal del 3666 pegado al 3268.

b)      La versatilidad de los edificios medievales, sobre todo el sistema steck, que no ha podido ser superado todavía por ningún otro sistema.

c)      La escena de la vida a pie de calle. Las  figuras personalizadas le dan un aire más realista. Seguramente unos piratas le habrían dado otro aspecto más para una recreación de Port Royal, la posada del Almirante Benbow, o incluso la Taberna “El Catalejo” de Bristol, regentada por el propio Silver “el largo”.

Bueno, lo volveremos a intentar.

THE TAVERN

The scene are three levels: A ship (in a dock), A building (tavern) and finally, in the foreground, a square on a city street.

Faults.

 a) The depth. I think the distance between the background, the ship and the building should have been higher.

 b) Soil. A brown soil (ground) or gray (stone) is more realistic.

 c) The height of the building. A tavern in one height would leave a big part of the boat and give it the greater sense of depth.

 Skills.

 a) The mixture of buildings and systems. I love how the main building is 3666 attached to 3268.

 b) The versatility of the medieval buildings, especially the steck system, which has not yet been overcome by any other system.

 c) The street scene. The custom figures give a more realistic. Pirates probably would have given an aspect to a recreation of Port Royal, Admiral Benbow inn, or even Long John Silver´s "The Spy-glass" in Bristol.

 Well, we will try it again.

Hemos tardado tan poco en hacer las velas, que no hemos podido resistir seguir con los experimentos. En menos de 10 minutos, nos hemos fabricado esta maravilla de tienda de campaña personalizada de Playmobil. También con goma eva. Un maravilla.

EXPERIMENTOS

Hemos decidido cambiar las velas de algunos de nuestros barcos. Tenemos un modelo 4444 que, la verdad, es un gran barco. Se trata del primer modelo de Playmobil de vela latina, creo. El único problema que podemos ponerle es su vela roja con numerosos agujeros. En nuestra opinión este barco con una vela blanca queda mucho mejor. No es nada nuevo, Playmobil ya lo ha hecho con los modelos 5948 y 5140. También tenemos que ponerle velas desde hace tiempo a un barco referencia 3940, que hemos ido completando poco a poco. Pensando más en un barco de línea que en un barco pirata.

Las velas blancas siempre están presentes en las imágenes de temas navales. Aquí tenemos un ejemplo de cómo eran en realidad las estampas de la marina de los siglos XVIII y XIX.

A continuación os enseñamos como ha quedado nuestro 4444 personalizado. La vela está hecha con polyfoam (goma eva) y nos ha costado 1,20 euros, incluyendo también todas las velas del 3940. Aunque ya estamos haciendo algún plan para cambiarlo, el resultado es fantástico.

EXPERIMENTS

We decided to change the sails of some of our boats. We have great boat: a 4444 model. This is the first Playmobil model with a latin sail. The only problem we see is its red sail with many holes. In our opinion this boat with a white sail looks much better. This is nothing new, Playmobil has already done it with the 5948 and 5140 models. PERSONALIZACIONES DE JUNIO (I)

Empezamos con un tributo a las series medievales de Playmobil de los 90 que tanto nos gustan. Bien podrían encajar en un 3628 o 3627 o incluso dentro del 3666. Lo probaremos.

  

Amarillo y negro. Me parece que irá bien con los caballeros del 3887.

Una personalización tributo al Special 4517.

Seguimos ampliando nuestros caballeros verdes. Hemos cambiado también nuestros caballos de guerra un poco. Tendremos que pedir alguna pieza al Playmobil DS.

Los nuevos piratas tienen piezas increíbles a las que todavía no les hemos podido sacar todo el partido.

No pueden faltar los vikingos. En verano haremos un control de calidad para repasar nuestra población.

El comienzo de la Edad Moderna, la guerra de los 30 años, la guerra civil inglesa, la conquista de América. Estamos creando un pequeño grupo que pronto tendrá que hacer un diorama.

JUNE CUSTOMIZATIONS (I)

We started with a tribute to medieval Playmobil series of the 90s that we love. Well they might fit into a 3628 or 3627 or even within the 3666. We'll try.

MERCADILLO DE JUNIO

A principio del mes de Junio se nos han juntado muchas cosas. Hemos seguido con tres frentes principales: Terminar nuestro Playmobil 3268, ampliar nuestro 3841 y seguir aumentando nuestras reservas para personalizaciones, a falta de decidirnos a realizar un pedido al DS. Ebay nos ha surtido de muchas referencias a muy bien precio, sobre todo nos ha dejado casi terminado nuestro 3268 y pronto podremos ofrecer muy buenas fotos de nuestras adquisiciones. Habrá que esperar a Julio. Son muchas las novedades que se pueden encontrar en el mercadillo, pero el precio es significativamente superior al que tendrán dentro de 6 o 7 meses en las jugueterias o incluso se pueden comprar por Ebay más baratas. Al final se pueden comprar muchas  cosas usadas que están muy bien y pagar bastante menos.

JUNE FLEA MARKET
